YOUR ROLE

  • Head of Business Development Manager for APAC Emerging region for Consumer Goods Adhesives strategic business unit (SBU).
  • Identifies future market trends, developments and product / service expectations and translates them into business growth opportunities
  • Leads the mid- and long-term business expansion planning process on regional/global level
  • Defines the entry strategy into new markets/ segments through a deep understanding of customers/ trade/ consumers
  • Analyzes and builds different future scenarios to create new paths of business including timing and investment planning
  • Designs and steers the strategy map / customer roadmaps and steers profitable growth globally
  • Coordinates and manages strategy projects, acts as Project Lead for business unit-wide projects
  • Explores and manages acquisition and divestment projects, develops pipeline for acquisitions
  • Coordinates M&A processes within BU (especially targets identification, evaluation, GO Process, Due Diligence), leads acquisitions' integration
  • Ensures stakeholder management across BU, collaborates closely with Marketing / Sales / Key Account Manager and Business Development on global activities
  • Ensures cross-functional coordination of processes and departments, initiates and leads Innovation projects
  • Establishes and maintains relevant customer / market relationships on senior level, attends relevant events, exhibitions, trade fairs
  • Develops and implements business analysis instruments, provides market and competitive intelligence, leads Peer Group Analysis Leads and develops a team of Business Development Managers

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration or Marketing.
  • Working experience at least 8 years of business development function in management level, preferably in chemical manufacturing industry.
  • Has experience selling products to manufacturers in B2B channel.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Very good strategic and analytical ability.
  • Computer proficiency and strong presentation skills.
