YOUR ROLE
- Manage microbiology lab and all the related aspects of verification and validation. Driving lean approach of periodic validation through the implemented inspection plans to achieve LCQ.
- Ensure full compliance with current industry related legislation through over-seeing raw materials and components, driving hygiene and pest management systems ensuring that the hygiene activities are within the area of responsibility and documenting risk assessments and methods statements and safe systems of work.
- Manage the company hygiene process by identifying the cleaning, disinfection requirements and select the hygiene methodology dependent upon environment, construction of premises, hygienic design of equipment, equipment usage and chemical application equipment, storage of chemicals/disinfectant and the hygiene.
- Monitor and verify organizational hygiene standards to ensure validated requirements are consistently met and analyze hygiene data, interpret results, identify trends and implement a program of corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence of issues such as pathogenic or chemical contamination.
- Carry out internal audits and participate in external audits. Communicate all non-conformities to relevant stakeholders and agree corrective actions to be undertaken and assign responsibility.
- Inspect procedures of the entire production cycle to ensure they are efficient and comply with safety standards.
YOUR SKILLS
- University degree in Engineering, preferably in Environmental or Chemical Engineering and Chemistry, Science.
- Good command of computer knowledge and MS Office applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify critical issues, evaluate options and drive to resolution.
- SAP Knowledge is a plus.
