What you'll do

  • Shape Henkel Adhesive Technologies’ strategy for sustainability by further integrate sustainability into our business strategy through data driven measurement concepts
  • Build a holistic concept for sustainability transparency on product and portfolio level along the value chain and as part of integrated business steering, with special focus on sustainability measurement, data analysis and modeling, based on Life Cycle Assessment
  • Provide expertise on sustainability related topics like CO2 emission accounting, mapping of related saving levers in our value chains and understanding of alternative feedstocks
  • Drive the design of digital tool landscape for sustainability and support designing the underlaying data infrastructure

What makes you a good fit

  • Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Engineering, Data management/science or a related field 
  • At least 4 years of relevant professional experience - Consultancy experience is a plus
  • Ideally experience in digital product management, data analysis and/or data modeling, in working with tools for data analysis (e.g., Python) and -systems as well as knowledge of databases
  • Knowledge of life cycle assessments (LCA) and reporting standards, e. g., ISO 14040/14044, Greenhouse Gas Protocol, Together for Sustainability (TfS), LCA concepts and LCA software such as GaBi, OpenLCA or Brightway is a plus
  • Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills
  • Proven track record in managing complex projects in multi-stakeholder environments, ideally with a strong focus on sustainability related projects
  • Fluent English language skills
