About this Position
Working within the dynamic HRDirect Payroll team, What you'll do plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and accurate execution of end-to-end payroll processes for Henkel. You will have the chance to leverage your expertise in payroll processing while actively participating in cross-functional collaborations and driving impactful changes within the organization.
What you´ll do
- Process North America (US and Canada) end-to-end payroll (Personnel Administration and Data Maintenance, Gross to Net, Payment, Deductions and Payroll Reporting, Preparation of Bank Files, Off Cycle Processing) on a weekly and bi-weekly basis
- Support the process transition and implementation during User Acceptance Testing, Parallel Testing, System Configuration, troubleshooting and documentation
- Perform analysis and validation of payroll processing results and reports; Reconcile and prepare pre- and post-payroll reporting
- Coordinate with different teams inside and outside the organization, 3rd party vendors and stakeholders in order to ensure that all time entries, earnings, benefits, garnishments, taxes and data are accurate, correct, and within the agreed timeline
- Create and update process documentation and workflow; Participate in Continuous Process Improvements
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Human Resources or relevant field
- Minimum of one (1) year relevant working experience in handling Time Management and Workforce Management for North America (US and Canada) payroll processing; Background in handling garnishment, taxes, time, and attendance processing is highly preferred
- Knowledge in creating process documentation and updating desktop procedure and job aids is needed; Experience in user acceptance testing (UAT), parallel testing, and implementing project go-live is an advantage
- Experience in handling different payroll system and tools (e.g. SAP, Dayforce, ADP systems) is required; Having the Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) is a plus
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge in MS Excel and other Office applications is required
- Excellent command of the English language for both written and verbal communication
- Amenable to work on night shift schedule (9:00 PM to 6:00 AM) following US holidays, and report on a hybrid work set-up in Ayala Avenue, Makati
