About this Position

As a Data Management Specialist, your primary goal will be to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of our local material master data within SAP. By managing material updates and coordinating information gathering, you will help prevent costly errors that could arise from outdated or incorrect data. You will work closely with Master Data experts in a collaborative environment that values attention to detail and effective communication While project execution may play a minor role, your involvement will provide valuable insights that contribute to the overall success of our data management initiatives. 

What you´ll do

  • Responsible for accurate and timely creation and update of local material master data views (purchasing, Maximum Retail Price (MRP) 1-4, sales view, storage views, work scheduling, warehouse, and Quality management (QM) provided by the requesters (Master Data (MD) controllers/MD experts)
  • In charge for deletion and reactivation of materials, handling of mass upload, and closing of Mozart request
  • Responsible for coordination in gathering the information needed for material master data maintenance in SAP, including answering of queries via email, monitoring of workflows, and sending of announcements for activated materials
  • Generate master data download/reports and executing master data clean up needed by the business; Accountable to inform Team Lead for process manual updates
  • Minimum involvement on project execution related to local material master data maintenance

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • Preferably with one (1) year of related work experience in Master Data Management from a shared service industry
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required
  • Experience in technical reporting and analysis using Microsoft and Power BI is a must; Experience using VBA Macros, SAP Scripting is an advantage
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English; Must be a team player with good skills in time management, analysis, and had great attention to details
  • Amenable to work on a temporary basis (5 months), day-shift schedule (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM), and report on a hybrid work set-up in Ayala Avenue, Makati
