YOUR ROLE

  • Perform the following duties in accordance with the Operatipon and Supply Chain Vision (Hino Vision).
  • Implement safety and environmental initiatives (especially PIT and Storage Safety). (Especially PIT and Storage Safety)
  • Supply raw materials in a timely manner at optimum cost and quality.
  • Manage the section to improve the service level by controlling the production process and checking the status of incoming goods based on the production plan.
  • Lead the inventory.
  • Monitor the performance and output of the section and ensure that production specifications and schedules, production volume targets, and quality standards are met.
  • Maintain accurate daily job records for the team (group) and maintain records to enable analysis of production and inventory status.
  • Continuously improve and optimize material procurement and internal logistics based on lean production methods.
  • Lead section managers and section staff to ensure that the internal systems and business operations (including suppliers and 3PL) are in place.
  • Manage and optimize inventory. (Inventory quantity, validity period, OSMI, disposal)
  • Serve as the point of contact for the supply chain and other departments at the factory, and optimize the relationship with the business units.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor degree in relevant field
  • Experience as a people manager
  • Relevant experiences in material management
  • Strategically minded with presentation skills
  • Fluent Japanese and Business level English
  • Experience with and knowledge of dangerous materials is a plus
  • Digitalization experience is a highly preferred
  • Experience in a chemical or related company is a plus
