Due to our successful implementation of Industry 4.0, the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia has selected Henkel to showcase our Industry 4.0 capabilities at the Indonesia Industrial Summit 2018, which was held from 4 to 5 April at the Jakarta Convention Center.

Henkel's booth highlighted the smart factory technologies and systems of our industrial adhesives plant in Pasuruan. An example is the forklift caller app, an automated forklift hauling system. Notably, the digitalization of manufacturing processes and the ability to tap on artificial intelligence have led to many benefits for Henkel and our customers. These include improved efficiencies and quality, shorter process time and better customer service.

The event, which was themed 'Making Indonesia 4.0', detailed the government's vision to boost the competitiveness of the manufacturing industry through digitalization.
