Zero Accident Award

Safety always comes first

Henkel Indonesia has once again received the ‘Zero Accident Award’ from the East Java government for exceptional safety record at its adhesive plant in Pasuruan.

The achievement is the result of a strong safety culture in the industrial adhesives plant. Regular safety, health and environmental quality trainings are conducted to remind employees on safety procedures in the plant, and reiterate the importance of being alert.
These have led to a safer working environment, as the plant has clocked more than two million man hours without any lost time cases*.

Mashuri, Plant Manager, Adhesive Technologies, Henkel Indonesia, said, “This recognition is a result of every single individual’s awareness and alertness to safety, because safety in the plant is everyone’s responsibility. It is important to prioritize safety in our daily activities and to never take it for granted.”

*A Lost Time Case is when the victim needs medical treatment or hospitalization and cannot get back to work after 24 hours.
