Asia-Pacific is one of the most diverse regions in which Henkel operates. Spanning 12 countries, it encompasses a vast range of employees from more than 37 nationalities and different backgrounds. These differences are one of the company’s key strengths. To celebrate the diversity of its employees, Henkel teams across the globe commemorate its Diversity & Inclusion week annually, with various events and activities.
In Indonesia, as it was Ramadan, the team came together to enjoy movies followed by meal where both Muslim and non-Muslim colleagues broke fast together. In addition, a Family Day was held in the Jakarta office where children and spouses were invited for a day of fun in the office. There were also sporting activities held over a few weeks, to build team spirit.
