Henkel Day 2016 was an affair to remember, as offices globally commemorated the anniversary of the company’s founding on September 26, 1876. In Indonesia, employees from the Henkel’s sites in Jakarta, Tangerang and Pasuruan celebrated the milestone with various team-building activities.
Employees from Jakarta gathered at a beach where they participated in games related to the theme of 140 years and released sky lanterns with their good wishes for the company. Meanwhile, employees from the adhesives plant in Tangerang celebrated the occasion at a highland resort, where 140 of them shared why they were proud to work at Henkel. At a weekend outing at Jawa Timur Park 1, employees from the adhesives plant in Pasuruan, together with their families, bonded over games and performances. Long service, safety and performance awards were also presented to recognize employees for their contributions to Henkel’s success.
