Small steps matter: Spreading the word about sustainability

To raise awareness about sustainability, our employees reached out to 85 students from a public elementary school in Banten, Indonesia.

During the lesson, the students from Jurang Mangu Timur 02 watched a sustainability video which showcased simple actions the students can do to contribute to environmental conservation. They also participated in a coloring activity to learn concrete ways to practice sustainability in their daily lives.

After the lesson, all students received a Sustainability Champion certificate and a reusable lunch box as a reminder and inspiration for them to do their part for the environment.

At Henkel Indonesia, all our employees are trained Sustainability Ambassadors. Since 2015, they have taught more than 960 students about simple acts to reduce, reuse and recycle.
