Henkel Adhesive Technologies is the global leader in the adhesives market – across all industry segments worldwide. In its Laundry & Home Care and Beauty Care businesses, Henkel holds leading positions in many markets and categories around the world. Founded in 1876, Henkel looks back on more than 140 years of success. In 2021, Henkel reported sales of 20 billion euros and an operating profit of 2.7 billion euros (adjusted for one-time gains/charges and restructuring charges). Henkel employs more than 52,000 people worldwide – a passionate and highly diverse team, united by a strong company culture, a common purpose and shared values. As a recognized leader in sustainability, Henkel holds top positions in many international indices and rankings. Henkel’s preferred shares are listed in the German stock index DAX.

Henkel in Indonesia

In 1974, Henkel opened an office in Indonesia and begin selling adhesives to customers. Today, Indonesia represents a fast-growth market for the Henkel Group and is a strong pillar of the company’s strategy in the emerging markets. With 360 employees, Henkel Indonesia operates a head office and a Southeast Asia Regional Innovation Center in Bintaro, South Tangerang, and two adhesives plants in Tangerang and Pasuruan.

In the adhesive business, Henkel Indonesia holds leading market positions in various industries, such as automotive, consumer, furniture, food and beverage, packaging, footwear and general industries.
